Hi.

Who am I?

I’m Junior (real, legal name).

I’m a senior strategist and writer with a passion for creativity and design.

I was born and raised in Venezuela. I escaped at 18 to study Visual Communication in Barcelona, Spain. I further escaped and established in Dubai, UAE, where I’ve been since late 2017.

What am I, and what can I do?

In a non-skill sense, I’m intensely curious about creativity in general and human behaviour in particular. I believe in the power of connecting with the right stakeholders at the right time, whether through content, experience or strategy. And lastly, I’m a defender of customer-centric approaches that deliver value.

What have I done, and for whom?

Below is a shortened list so as not to bore you and to keep you on the page:

• 2013 - 2017 in IED Barcelona: multi-disciplinary spells at cutting-edge tech-development hubs, such as CERN (in IdeaSquare, its design-thinking arm) and Sónar+D, Europe’s leading tech & music festival

• 2015 - 2016 in McCann Barcelona: Art Direction Assistant for ATL and BTL marcomms for ALDI (in a specialised section named The Backroom)

• 2017 - 2021 in Jack Morton MENA: started as Junior Creative, and left as a Senior Creative Associate. Through holistic strategic development, R&R ranged from new business pitches and proposals to creative development and ideation.

• 2021 - Present in Imagination Middle East: the first hire of the Strategy team at Imagination Middle East, our offer has quickly grown to encompass the majority of our business. I am actively involved in new business and developing special projects across the whole region.
